| This seminar will provide the attendee an understanding of the Best Practices in Pain Management. Attendees will gain insights into the beliefs and myths of pain management. Additionally, pain assessment, the Pathophysiology of pain, commonly used opiods and equianalgesic dosing will be discussed. Attendees will have opportunity for interactive learning through the use of case studies including pain management, education of staff, patients and families and application of evidence based skills to clinical practice. |
